Alot of posts today.

I have been wanting to tell this story for 2 months, so I'll just say it now. One time in the transit bus, I was standing at the entrance when another guy came in. After the bus started moving for a while, I noticed that my bag was vibrating as if the zipper was being puled. I looked down at my bag and noticed that the zipper was opened, with that guy's hand being close to my bag. Since we were jammed together literally like sardines, all I could do was zip the bag back up and hold tighter to it. To add to the suspicion, that guy got off immediately at the next stop... which was 50 meters from the bus stop where he got in. So.. later, I checked if anything was missing. Guess what, even if he wanted to steal something, there wasn't anything worth stealing. In that compartment was a pair of slippers. Even if he unzipped the main compartment, the top 2/3 layer consists of a pair of glove, my lab coat and a scarf. Hahaha!!!!!!

On the other hand, a senior named Soo Yin was unlucky enough to be the proud holder of the record of having 3 handphones stolen in one and a half year. No really, she is proud of it.

This is a picture of her when she went to Moscow.

On an unrelated account.....

Russian : Friend, lets go see this Kuala Lumpor of yours.
Malaysian: Okay, lets. I think the best bus to choose is number 8.
Russian : There is a number Eight.
Malaysian: No la, that bus is full, you see, got people standing and everything.
Russian : Nonsense. In my country, we can fit twenty more of my people in that bus of yours.

The moral of this story is, that Russians are very very efficient. Trust me, they can fit as many people into a full bus as they want.

While crossing the road.....

Clement: I like these Russians, they know when to cross the road even when the pedestrian traffic light is red.
Dave : Yeah, the traffic here have a lot of respect for pedestrians.
Clement: But Malaysians are even better.
Dave : How is that?
(Both crosses the middle of a road without traffic lights)
Clement: We Malaysians know both where and when to cross the road.

20th DEC, The Student's Christmas Party (aka The Great Wall of Pictures)

Okay, since there isn't much for me to say on these pictures, I'm forced to say something myself. On the 20th, we had a Christmas party since the real Russian Christmas is on January and since 25th DEC falls on Wesnesday, we would have no time to party.

Waiting for the bus at the bus stop.

In the bus.

Walking along 'ulitsa pakrovskaya' aka The Walking Street.
A play.

The choir

Two bands.

One of our many VIP guests.

Singing nuns.

A disco ball.
I have no idea what they call this thing.

Party, Party, Party, Party and more Party.

25/24th DEC, The Midnight Mass (aka. The 2nd Great Wall Of Pictures)

In the bus, on the way to church.

(From inside the bus) These thermometers are very convenient.

Entering the church.....
... where I accidentally got myself recruited as a choir member.
The 2 words on top are Russian and are pronounced as
'razhdistva khristova' I think, stresses on words, go figure.
The words below it are in latin, 'adeste fideles' im too lazy
to translate them.

The priest.

A nice effect.

Our student representative doing a reading in English.
Ps. there is a cameraman to the left.

Pianist.
Before midnight.
After midnight. Please note that no matter how many times
I took the pictures, they keep shining. Hmmm.....
it gets you thinking, doesn't it.

See, still shining. Hmmm.....

And after the church service, there was the Christmas party, not related
to the previous one.

FOODS GALORE! THE HORN OF PLENTY IS BEING GIVEN OUT.
There is a tradition here that we are given a piece of this bread???
and another person takes a small piece of it and wishes anything
for you and vice versa.
Oooh, the first time I have actually seen them.

Let's see... yup, still glowing.

26th DEC, Autumn festival

No comments for these pictures.

Some random pics.

A picture from the 8th floor balcony outside my room.
Remember the man in the middle of the last picture? This picture
is taken about 5 meters behind his position.
Waiting at the bus stop for the first transit.

Transiting from 1 bus stop to another.

Waiting at the 2nd bus stop after the transit, and yes, that is a
Christmas tree in the background.

A picture taken from the Anatomy classroom.

Studying medicine in Russia is better than in Malaysia because
we use real 'preprats' for our studies. But we are not allowed
to take pictures of them out of respect for their owner. I'm not
explaining the term but you can guess what it is from the picture above.

Cheating for exams (not me)

Tired after studying all night. BTW, thats Raymond in the middle.

I caught this picture, those guys were stuck in the lift for 5 mins,
but when the door opened, the 1st guy saw me preparing to take
a pic and well, he has fast reflexes and vice versa for my camera phone
I WANT A NEW CAMERA!!!!
